Double Trouble: Doublet and ASICS Just Debuted a Collaboration

Cult Japanese imprint Doublet, known for their out-there style, is the next brand to join ASICS’ booming 2024 collaborative catalogue, debuting a joint venture as part of their Paris Fashion Week showcase.

As you can expect from the Masayuki Ino-led streetwear label, the entire collection was loud and hosted a plethora of wayward themes infused into a flurry of sartorial masterpieces. Included in the collection was the upcoming ASICS collaboration, which looks like a hybrid of select archival silhouettes. The chosen colourway is a low-key tonal brown, further accentuated by busy branding on the upper and grid-like construction details.

This won’t be Doublet’s first sneaker collaboration, as the sartorial shock jocks recently linked with skate brand DC Shoes to introduce a new hybrid silhouette that referenced plenty of OG models.
